Today, the Conservatives have moved a motion to demand that the government condemn the decision to move Terri-Lynne McClintic to a healing lodge and exercise its moral, legal, and political authority to reverse this decision. Although McClintic’s sentence was life in prison at a maximum-security prison with no chance of parole for 25 years, she has been transferred to a healing lodge in Saskatchewan. The decision moves this killer from behind bars to a healing lodge with no fence and with children allowed inside. This is disgraceful and the Liberal government has the authority and the obligation to reverse the decision.
